ABOUT SHRAMIDHI
Supporting Skill, Self-Reliance, and Financial Empowerment for Women
Detailed Description
Shramidhi is a dedicated women empowerment initiative at the Army War College focused on promoting skill development, self-reliance, and financial independence among women within the AWC community. The program aims to create opportunities for learning, growth, and livelihood enhancement through structured training modules and community-based activities.
Shramidhi encourages women to build practical skills that can contribute to personal development as well as income-generating opportunities. Through workshops, vocational training sessions, and hands-on learning, the initiative provides a platform where women can explore new abilities, enhance existing talents, and engage in meaningful self-improvement.
The initiative also promotes financial literacy, entrepreneurship awareness, and productive engagement, enabling women to participate confidently in various welfare and community-related activities.
