To impart IW trg to offrs of all three Services to empower them to tenate IW appts at Fmn HQ at the op and theatre level.

30 offrs (incl 01 × Offr from Indian Navy) of 11–24 yr service, 7 weeks, 2 courses per yr.

4. Methodology of Conduct of Courses

The syllabus for IW (O) course has been approved by ARTRAC, though minor modifications are done based on experience at the Wing level to make it current and progressive.

The course focuses on non-tech aspects of all verticals of IW viz Psy Ops, Cyber W & EW.
The Method of instruction is progressive, starting with classroom lectures and culminating with sand model / map ex.

Practical trg is imparted through:

• Hands-on trg on Cyber W at MCTE

• Minor Research Proj

• Media Analysis Proj

• Psy Op Product Devp Proj

Talks by domain specialists add to the depth of knowledge imparted.

An instructional tour to the newspaper house Dainik Bhaskar in Indore, a three-day Cyber W capsule at MCTE, and a one-week instructional tour to IW-related est at Delhi enable awareness of the emerging capb & mandate of other IW-related orgs in the Govt.
